Illustration by: Adriana Rodriguez Leon @scarletadrianne

This amazing asana resembles its inverted sister Padahastasana.

The seated pose can be exactly what we need to calm the brain and help relieve stress.

Gently listening and deepening on the rythm of our breath, it invite us to silence and introspection.

Paschimottanasana stretches the spine, shoulders and hamstrings. It stimulates the liver, kidneys, ovaries, and uterus.Helping improves digestion and relieving symptoms of menopause and menstrual discomfort. It can help very much to soothe headache, anxiety and reduce fatigue.

Gently breathing and hugging your self, this will be one of the most self-loving poses.
